As the Youth Navigator with Call to Freedom for over 2 years, Steve provides youth prevention presentations to schools, treatment centers, youth centers, and youth groups. The presentations focus on values, self-worth, and online safety as well as how to determine if a person is trustworthy. Meeting with youth in a variety of settings allows Steve to share relevant information that pertains to a youth's particular life experiences. Call to Freedom's youth program provides information on how to protect yourself on social media, what is a healthy relationship, what is trafficking and how to identify a potential trafficker or groomer. If your group is interested in a youth training, please visit our website HEREto learn more and request a training.
Steve and his wife Mary have three adult children and two granddaughters. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.
Fighting human trafficking in our community starts with one simple step: getting informed. Have lunch on us while hearing about trafficking in our area. Call to Freedom's staff will have you up to speed in no time.
New virtual attendance option available!

Do you want to join the fight
to combat human trafficking?
The Sturgis Bike Rally and hunting season are fast approaching and Call to Freedom is looking for volunteers interested in advocating for those being victimized by human trafficking.
Our Ambassador program is a group of volunteers passionate about spreading the word and work in their own communities to distribute human trafficking awareness posters and tear off signs to rest stops, gas stations, restaurants, hospitals, and hotels throughout South Dakota.
